About Us


Mudra was started on May 22, 2019 by discussing with 5 people. The thought of Mudra was just to fulfil word given to our teachers. Mudra is the culmination of efforts and blessings from many people. The team whose sustained efforts led to the formation of mudra ,according to us they were, they are and they will always be part. Special mentions to Mahesha sir.

At Mudra, We aim to teach underprivileged and government school kids the necessary topics required for them to succeed in life, to make a real difference.

We started with Vedic Math, Computer Applications and Spoken English, we have expanded our reach overtime to Science, Social Science and Agriculture as well.

Mudra is one of the youngest projects started in Manipal. Since its launch, Mudra has worked relentlessly to fulfill its dream of Education for all. Explore further to know more about us:



Our Initiatives



Khwayishon Ki Roshni was an initiative taken by Project Mudra wherein donors could donate their books/stationery in exchange for diyas painted meticulously by the students of Madhava Kripa School. The collected books and paper were distributed to the children of bijapur slum.


Health and Hygiene was held on 26th August 2020. The event was conducted at Tallapalem Government School in Andhra Pradesh in which around 22 students had taken part.


NTSE or National Talent Search Examination is a national level exam conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for granting scholarships to the meritorious students studying in class 10th. In the past few months, while the whole country was battling the covid pandemic, 30 members of project Mudra volunteered and took up the task of conducting classes and help students from MPUC School prepare for the NTSE. The classes were conducted in the using Zoom where we solved previous year question papers, revised necessary topics and cleared any doubts. We divided the subject material among our members uniformly, so that all relevant topics could be explained well in the session. We also familiarized the students with short tips and tricks that will help manage their time in the exam and boost their confidence. Overall, the experience of teaching was incredibly enriching and the entire team is delighted to get a chance to interact with the kids and impart knowledge.


Think Pink was an initiative by Project Mudra to bring about awareness regarding self testing, early detection, and ongoing research for Breast Cancer among School children. The campaign held via Google Meet featured an interactive classroom experience offered to schools across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.


On the 25th of April 2021, Project Mudra organized an Adobe Premiere Pro workshop for students to dive into the creative process of video editing. Presented by Tanushka Singh who is the head of Graphic Design, YouTube Division, the workshop comprehensively outlined the process of creating a video project and exploring several options that Premiere Pro has to offer.
